What I Eat In A Day: Dairy-Free Style

Maintaining a healthy diet can be a little challenging, especially when you have food restrictions. As someone who has been living dairy-free for a while now, I know how important it is to have a meal plan that meets your dietary needs while still being tasty and satisfying. In this article, I’ll be sharing what I eat in a day, dairy-free style.

Breakfast

The first thing I start off with every single day are all my vitamins. I take my collagen, vitamin C, vitamin E, iron, and probiotics and prebiotics. These have helped me tremendously with gut inflammation, bloating, and digesting my food. I take two capsules every single morning on an empty stomach.

Now, let’s move over to the stove and start cooking breakfast. I cook on a medium-high heat and add avocado oil. I sauté onions and jalapeños first, then add in some garlic and tomatoes. I crack in the eggs and scramble them. Lastly, I add some healthy fats from avocado and top it off with cilantro. This makes a tasty and fulfilling breakfast meal.

Snack

Mid-day snacks are essential to keep my energy levels up. Today, I’m using cucumber as a base for my snack. I stuff it with avocado mayo, yellow mustard, and avocado for my healthy fats. After topping it off with ‘everything but the bagel seasoning,’ it’s good to go.

Lunch

For lunch, I prefer something light yet filling. Today’s meal is the perfect balance of taste and nutrition. I have romaine lettuce hearts as my tortilla, ground beef, raw onions, tomatoes, and grilled onions. I also add some lime juice to give an extra tangy flavor to the dish.

Dinner

It’s time to whip up some dinner. I use taco seasoning to season my ground beef and add minced garlic. After cooking it on medium-high heat, I drain the excess oil and set the beef aside. I use the remaining oil to sauté onions.

I then assemble the meal with a base of the romaine lettuce heart, ground beef, grilled onions, raw onions, tomatoes, and mayo. All these ingredients combined make for a deliciously filling meal.

Dessert

After dinner, I usually prefer something sweet. Today, I have a handful of raspberries and blueberries as my dessert. These are easy to prepare and make for a perfect dessert ever. However, If I haven’t eaten enough throughout the day, I opt for a dairy-free yogurt or some coconut cream to satisfy my cravings.

Key Takeaway

In conclusion, a dairy-free diet can also be delicious and filling. The key is to have a well-thought-out meal plan that meets all your nutritional needs. Incorporating varieties of fresh fruits and veggies in meals can enrich the overall taste of the meal, and you won’t feel like sacrificing the taste for nutritional benefits.

All in all, after having a sumptuous meal filled with nutritional benefits, I feel better about myself and satisfied with what I eat. I hope this article inspires you to incorporate more dairy-free options in your daily meal routine.
