Welcome all! Papa G here. Today I present
my low carbohydrate pumpkin pie smoothie. This is a sweet and delicious recipe that takes
all the flavors of fall and brings them together in one glass. You can even add
it to your hot or chilled coffee for your own festive holiday treat. Let's get
started… Begin with a can of pumpkin puree and
freeze it in a silicone mold in quarter cup amounts. We'll be using the
liquid variety of pumpkin pie spice. The powdered version works just as fine as
well. In your personal mixer or regular blender, add a quarter cup of the frozen
pumpkin puree; a half cup of heavy cream; a half cup of unsweetened vanilla flavored
almond milk; a liquid sugar substitute equal to 12 teaspoons of regular sugar;
add the pumpkin pie extract; a little vanilla extract; some ground cinnamon; and
just a little ground nutmeg.
Now blend until smooth. The longer you blend the
thicker it will become. If it gets too thick just thin with some extra almond
milk. There you have it folks! My low carbohydrate pumpkin pie smoothie. Now you can enjoy
all the flavors of fall in a delicious drinkable low carbohydrate smoothie.
